Grouping filters in the filter panel can help organize and clean up the filter panel.  


To create a new group...

  1. Right click on the filter panel
  2. Select New Group 
  3. Name the group 


NOTE: You can also create groups in the Organize Filters dialog


Once the group has been created, there are several ways to add a filter to a group...


To add an individual filter to a group...

  • Right click on the filter > Move to group... > Select the group OR
  • Drag and drop the filter into the group (it will be at the bottom of the filter list)


To add multiple filters to a group...

  • Click on a filter and then use the shift or ctrl keys and click to select additional filters.  Then, use one of the steps named above to add them to the group.
