Most Spotfire users find out quickly that wheninserting columns, they cannot insert key columns, which are sometimesnecessary.  The way to get around this limitation is to create acalculated column via transformations that is a mirror image of the key column. Then, insert the calculated column.  The calculated column must becreated with a transformation or else it will not be visible in the list ofcolumns that can be inserted.
