The best way to trouble shooting issues with products or the license manager is to start the License Manager fresh. The only drawback is that you will have to reenter keys, so have them ready as your prepare for this procedure:

  1. Exit out of Spotfire or Desktop.


  2. Navigate to C:\Users\<your_login>\AppData\Local\Exchangeai.

  3. Remove all the files (Licenses/, Modules/, and Exchange.key).

  4. Open Spotfire.

  5. Instead of using the License Manager, open an instance of the product (ex. Insert > Visualization > Well Log Visualization).

  6. An error will say that you do not have the license for the visualization currently installed. Below will be a link that will challenge you with the License.

  7. Enter the License Key and Press Activate/OK (Depending on version).
