There are a two different options to update your SharePoint Data Source to display the most recent data in Spotfire.

• SharePoint Data Source Refresh tool
  
• Traditional Spotfire data table refresh

SharePoint Data Source Refresh Tool

The SharePoint Data Source Refresh tool can be used to automatically retrieve new data from the SharePoint server. 

To turn on the refresh tool, in Spotfire go to Tools>SharePoint Data Source>SharePoint Refresh On

To turn off the refresh tool, in Spotfire go to Tools>SharePoint Data Source>SharePoint Refresh Off

Keep in mind that to use the SharePoint Data Source Refresh tool, the data table must be Linked to source under the General tab in Data Table Properties.

Traditional Spofire Data Table Refresh

The list from SharePoint can be refreshed manually using Spotfire's traditional method for refreshing data tables. 

To refresh the data table from the SharePoint Data Source, in Spotfire go to Edit>Data Table Properties> Refresh Data

The next step determines the refresh method. 

Select With Prompt to open the SharePoint Data Source window and connect to the SharePoint Site and select the columns from the list you wish to refresh. 

Select Without Prompt to refresh all columns in the data table.
